Household insurance

All household insurance offered by Adelaide Bank is underwritten by CGU Insurance. CGU Insurance is part of Insurance Australia Group - Australasia's largest general insurance group.

CGU Insurance can provide cover for your building, contents and valuables. The two types of policy conditions available are Accidental Damage or Listed Events.

The Accidental Damage Home Policy offers cover for all the general events such as fire, burglary and storm damage but also extends to include cover for loss of or damage to your jewellery, mobile phones and sporting equipment outside of the home anywhere in Australia or New Zealand.

The Listed Events Home Policy offers cover for the general events such as fire, theft and storm damage but can also be extended to include cover for jewellery, photographic equipment and portable computers. An additional premium is calculated according to value.

Adelaide Bank Limited ABN 54 061 461 550 acts under its own Financial Services Licence and under an agreement with the insurer, CGU Insurance Limited ABN 27 004 478 371 (CGU). An IAG Company. Car Insurance is issued by CGU Insurance. You can get a Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) for these products from any office of Adelaide Bank or CGU. You should consider the PDS in deciding whether to buy or hold the product.
