When to use a Mortgage Discharge Authority Form

  • Selling your property
  • Refinancing your home loan with another bank or financial institution
  • Repaying your home loan and you want us to release your property from the mortgage
  • Releasing a family guarantee on your home loan and want us to release your property from the mortgage
  • Substituting an existing security

How to complete the discharge form

  1. Fill out the questionnaire below which will give you access to the PDF form
  2. Complete and print form
  3. Have all borrowers and guarantors sign with black ink
  4. Email the scanned copy to discharges@adelaidebank.com.au.

You will need the following documents and information to complete the form

  • All borrower names
  • All guarantor names (if applicable)
  • Home loan account number(s)
  • Line of credit number(s)
  • Security/property details
  • Solicitors/broker/other financial institution contact details
  • Contract of sale (if property sold)
