If you'd like the security of knowing you've always got money (credit) on hand, consider an Adelaide Bank VISA card.

Choice of Interest

Under the "up to 55 days interest free" option, you won't be charged any interest on the purchases you make with your VISA card for up to 55 days, the actual time depending on when your statement is issued each month and when you make those purchases. Of course, if you pay the purchases off inside this period, you won't be charged any interest at all.

With the "no interest free period" option, you are charged interest from the time you make a purchase.

Stay in control

Each month we'll send you a statement and you can elect to either pay the account in full or a portion of it (the minimum we require is on your statement) by a nominated date.

Payment Options

You can arrange to have a set amount automatically deducted from one of your Adelaide Bank accounts each month and transferred to your VISA account.

Alternatively, a VISA sweep option of the closing balance amount is available - this way your balance is automatically paid-in-full each month. You can also use Adelaide Bank's Express Line or Online Banking services. Or pay at any Australia Post Office displaying the Bank@Post™ symbol.

VISA Debit Cards

An Adelaide Bank Visa Debit card gives you the freedom to shop at more than 24 million establishments worldwide using your own savings. There is no annual fee, no credit limit and no more worrying about repayments at the end of the month. Put simply it's your money with a Visa advantage.

Adelaide Bank Visa Debit has a low monthly account fee of $5. This includes unlimited Adelaide Bank transactions¹ so you can make withdrawals, purchases and pay bills from your Visa Debit without incurring additional fees. You can also access your account anytime via Adelaide Bank's Online Banking and Express Line (phone banking) services.

Applying for a Visa Debit card is easy, you are not required to undergo a credit assessment².

To apply for a Visa Debit card simply fill in the Adelaide Bank Visa Debit form attached to the Visa Debit brochure and take it in to your local branch.
