Satisfied Customer

You can use Online Banking at your own pace and everything you need to see is on the screen, including easy to follow instructions and we have added to every page a dedicated "Help" screen to assist you if you are unsure.

At Adelaide Bank we recognise that some customers may feel uncertain when using Online Banking. That is why we have refreshed the look and the feel, made it bigger and brighter than before and rest assured, it is very safe to use.

Accessing Online Banking or "Logging On" is very straight forward.

You will need to have your Adelaide Bank Customer Number and Personal Access Code (PAC) with you to enable us to verify that it is you logging on.

Once you have clicked the Online Banking icon from the website, you will be presented with the following screen.

Log on screen

1. Enter your Customer Number
2. Enter your Personal Access Code. It is recommended that you use the "Scramble Pad" by typing the matching letter of your PAC in the white field (see below).
3. The "Scramble Pad" is a security device that assists you in protecting the numbers that you need to enter to gain access to Online Banking. For example, if your PAC was "1 2 3 4" the letter you would enter would be "M H E Q".

You may also notice that the normal navigation buttons on your Internet Browser have been hidden. This has been done on purpose as Online Banking has its own navigation buttons.

My Accounts screen

The purpose of this screen is to provide you with all your account information at a simple glance.

All your accounts are listed along with the corresponding balances. Next to the balances are the Action buttons available on that particular account.

The bottom section details the various attributes of the selected account including the BSB (Bank / State / Branch Number) and Cross Reference or Account Number which may be needed for other banking purposes.

This screen also displays the 8 most recent transactions since the account's last statement to quickly verify transactions if needed.

The tabs across the top are navigation buttons to the other functions as required.

AnyPay

AnyPay is Adelaide Bank's "Account to Account" or "A2A" payment facility.

There is no longer the need to register for AnyPay as all Online Banking customers automatically have access to this facility. To activate AnyPay, you simply assign a Daily Limit to an account and within 2 business days, the limit will be activated and you can send monies to other Adelaide Bank or other financial institution accounts.

The AnyPay screen looks like this.

AnyPay screen

The top section titled "Pending AnyPay Payments" lists all AnyPay payments created to be paid at a pre-determined frequency ie: Monthly.

The lower section titled "AnyPay Payee List" lists all the AnyPay payments that have been created and saved. You can create and send an AnyPay payment without saving the details or alternatively, you can create a new payment record without initiating a payment at that time.

The AnyPay screen provides our customers with other options to manage payment records in a simple and instructional manner.

BPAY

BPAY is one of Australia's most popular bill payment services and now Online Banking has made the management of your BPAY payments even easier.

The new BPAY screen looks like this.

BPAY screen

The top section titled "Pending BPAY Payments" lists all the BPAY payments previously created and scheduled to be initiated at a later date.

The lower section titled "BPAY Biller List" shows all the BPAY payment records created for easier identification and bill management. Bill payment details can be added at anytime without a payment being made and even the name of the Billers can be modified if needed to accurately identify different accounts with the same Biller. Biller records can be managed form this screen as well.

Batches and Direct Entry

Batches are a particularly useful function if you wish to transfer monies to multiple bank accounts either with Adelaide Bank or any other Financial Institution.

You can easily set up templates to use time and time again if needed and many of our smaller business clients use this feature for Payroll and other payments.

The Batches screen looks like this:

A new feature to Online Banking is the ability for our customers to "Import" their Payroll files using the added security of Online Banking direct to Adelaide Bank for processing.

A new feature to Online Banking is our Secure Mail facility.

Customers can securely send text emails to Adelaide Bank when needed. Adelaide Bank will then respond to the email and these messages can be retrieved from within the Secure Mail area within Online Banking.

When future dated transactions are processed, a transaction receipt is sent to your Online Banking mailbox.
